LFHS Homecoming 2010 Schedule of Events

September 27—October 1

Monday, September 27, 2010:

Overpower the Bulldogs: The Avengers. Students will be encouraged to dress as super heroes and villains. Dress-code will be applied and all costumes must be appropriate. No masks or face paint will be allowed.

Guitar Hero World Tour finals for grades 7-9. This event will take place during 1^st period and grades 7-9 will attend. Cost will be $1.00.

Tuesday, September 28, 2010:

Outsmart the Bulldogs: Revenge of the Nerds. Students are encouraged to dress like nerds.

Scholars’ Bowl team v Coaches and Athletes in Movie Trivia Game. This event will take place 4^th period in the gym. Cost will be $1.00.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010:

Splatter the Bulldogs: Wizard of Oz. Students will be encouraged to create a rainbow by wearing their assigned class color: 7^th—purple, 8^th—red, 9^th—green, 10^th—orange, 11^th—yellow, 12^th—blue, faculty—black.

Varsity Volleyball v the Average Joe’s and the Faculty. This event will take place 3^rd period in the gym. Cost will be $1.00.

Thursday, September 30, 2010:

Toy with the Bulldogs: Toy Story. Students will be encouraged to dress like their favorite toy or character from Toy Story.

Jr. v Sr. Powderpuff Game. The junior and senior girls will play flag football and during “half-time” of their game, the Powderpuff King will be crowned. This event will take place 6^th period in the stadium. Cost will be $1.00 and shaved ice will be on sale as well for $3.00.

Bonfire at 7:00pm (dark) behind the football stadium.

Friday, October 1, 2010:

Black out the Bulldogs: Men in Black. Students will be encouraged to wear as much GREEN, BLACK and WHITE as possible and show their Hornet spirit.

Guitar Hero World Tour finals for grades 10-12. This event will take place during 1^st period and grades 10-12 will attend. Cost will be $1.00.

Bury the Bulldogs Pep Rally at 1:45 p.m.  in the stadium.

Homecoming Court and crowning at 6:30 pre-game.

LF Hornets v Anniston Bulldogs 7:00 p.m. KICKOFF

Homecoming Dance immediately after the game for grades 7-12. “Locust Fork on the Big Screen” will feature a huge inflatable screen with images of students throughout the week and a Hollywood Entrance. Cost to attend is $5.00 and all dates who are not LF students must be pre-approved. Dance will conclude promptly at 11:30 p.m.

Picture packages will be available for $12.00 from Blount Photographic and will include 2-5x7s and 8-wallets. All packages must be paid for at the time the picture is taken.
